Mom Designs Clothes Line for Kids with Glasses and Patches
According to Babble.com, Jessica Butler, launched a feel good clothes line after being inspired by her son, Scott, who was born with congenital cataracts, underwent cataract surgery and is now required to wear glasses or eye patches full time.
After, the ophthalmologists had to surgically remove Scott’s cloudy lens with which he was born, Jessica thought up the idea for a T-shirt line designed to make kids feel good about glasses and patches. Eye Power Kid’s Wear offers shirts with cupcakes, robots, monsters, etc. One of the shirts, “Will Patch for Cake” has a picture of a smiling cup cake wearing an eye patch on it. Another shirt can be ordered with a cape expressing, "My glasses give me superpowers.”
