I found great improvement in my Dry Eyes after completing the 4 initial IPL treatments. My eyes improved after each treatment along with the use of Eye Scrubs. The awful tearing, redness, and burning have stopped. Over the counter eye drops are rarely needed except when doing a great deal of reading.

My friends comment on how good my eyes now look, and I am back to using eye makeup again!

I would certainly recommend IPL and Dr. Matossian's Dry Eye Clinic.

When I first came to Dr. Matossian I just walked around with a tissue because my eyes just watered all the time. Things were so blurry. My eyelids were so sore from tearing. After the first and second IPL, I didn't see any results but had slight relief. I also had punctual probing on the lower left lid and after the third IPL I had a dramatic improvement. I had no more tearing and the redness was going away. "It seems like a miracle." I recommend this to anyone who has Dry Eye and Ocular Surface Disease. SB

The retina exam was much different from what I expected. I thought I was going to have an "optomap" photo taken, and when the Doctor started the exam using an extremely bright light (eyes fully dilated) I became frightened. The doctor sensed my discomfort right away and explained the entire procedure to me, including reassurance about any of my perceived saftey issues. I was very grateful for that and felt comfortable enough to complete the examination. Thanks to Dr. Patel's knowledge, expertise, and real concern for my well being. I am no longer afraid to undergo the procedure. He is an excellent physician, and I am grateful for the time he spent with me to alleviate my anxiety.

I want to thank you for giving me my sight back! If you remembr, I insisted I needed glasses. You told me to go my regular eye doctor (OD). I never went to him. I did what you told me. I went to "CVS" and I got reading glasses. I am totally estatic! And yes, you were right, reading glassees were all I needed. My husband calls me "Eagle Eye"! I love being able to see far away without glasses.

And guess what else? I read 2 books already and I will be starting to crochet a new afghan.

Dr. Patel found a potentially serious problem during a routine follow-up and fixed it the same day with a laser procedure. I'm very grateful!

BTW, your eye practice is the best, and I've gone thru several in both PA and Maryland. I consider myself a professional contact lens patient. Astigmatism and engineer - fatal combination for an optometrist! Only one other doctor has ever measured up to Dr. Cutler and he was in Maryland. Actually, I think your whole practice is great - and, they take the refraction part seriously - you'd be surprised.

As I progressed through the various stages of exams. I felt very comfortable and observed the knowledge and professionalism each staff member exuded. They were patient, cordial and knew their equipment and exams. From start to finish the entire scheduling and detail, eye drops, times, days, etc. were easy to follow and worked well as I was never in any pain. I will not hesitate to recommend Matossian Eye Associates to my family, friends, or anyone else that speaks to me about eye care. I wish to thank all of you for your warmth and kindness and for doing what you do so well. Keep up that warm, friendly office environment because first impressions to matter.

We all have our favorite stars from both television and movies. They are handsome and beautiful. They receive many awards and we recongnize them like family members.

Dr. Matossian, you are the star in your medical practice. And yes, you too, are just so beautiful. Then there are your people behind the scenes in your office who make your practice runs so perfectly.

If it were not for Dottie Lauer, I would not be doing my cataract surgery this Wednesday. Without Dottie's call to me, I would have not known that necessary paperwork from my doctor had not come through to your office. Her dedicated follow up with my doctor's office was beyond the call of duty. And believe, this required not just once call to this office, but several calls until the problem got resolved!

So I will be seeing you tomorrow Dr. Matossian. No, Dottie Lauer, will not physically be there, but because of her dedicated work, she will be there in spirit.
