Hilary Brader, M.D. specializes in the medical treatment of retinal disease, including age-related macular degeneration (AMD), diabetic eye disease, retinal vascular occlusion, intraocular injections, and laser treatment of retinal disease. Dr. Brader completed her Fellowship training in medical retina at the Harvard Medical School, Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary. While there, she received the Heed Ophthalmic Foundation post-graduate fellowship training award. Dr. Brader completed her residency at the University of Pennsylvania, Scheie Eye Institute and her internship at Pennsylvania Hospital, receiving her medical degree from Drexel University. She was inducted into the Medical Honors Society as a junior medical student and awarded a Doris Duke Clinical Research Fellowship. Dr. Brader is a member of several professional societies, including the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology, the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Society of Heed Fellows, and the American Society of Retina Specialists. She has produced numerous publications and presentations at national meetings on AMD and laser treatment for retinal disease.
