Dr. Saipe received his undergraduate degree at Princeton University and medical degree from Rush Medical College in Chicago. He then completed a residency in Ophthalmology at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics followed by a fellowship in Cornea, External Disease & Refractive Surgery at the University of Wisconsin as well.

In addition to caring for patients regular eye health and vision needs, Dr. Saipe specializes in routine as well as complex cataract surgery with a special interest and expertise in laser cataract surgery and the use of advanced intraocular lens implants (IOL), including toric lens implants to correct astigmatism and multifocal lenses to help cataract surgery patients reduce their dependence on eyeglasses, bifocals or reading glasses after cataract surgery. As a refractive surgeon, Dr. Saipe provides all types of corneal laser eye surgery for vision correction, such as LASIK vision correction, in order to help patients who are nearsighted, farsighted or who have astigmatism see clearly at distance free of the hassle of eyeglasses or contacts lenses.

Dr. Saipe is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology (ABO), a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS).
