

Dr. Desai specializes in the medical, laser and surgical treatment of glaucoma and cataracts. She also performs minor eye lid procedures, including excision and biopsy of lesions and chalazions. After receiving her medical degree from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, Dr. Desai completed her ophthalmology residency at the King-Harbor Medical Center Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science in Los Angeles followed by a fellowship in glaucoma at the Jules Stein Eye Institute at UCLA. Her special interests include normal tension glaucoma.
